Continuing Education & Enrichment

Continuing Education and Enrichment

All active Licensed and Ordained Ministers in Pacific Southwest Mennonite Conference are required to have at least 15 hours of Pastoral Development during the calendar year, effective January 1, 2017. These hours are measured as Continuing Education Units (CEUs). 15 hours equal 1.5 CEUs. The hours may be divided between Continuing Education and Enrichment opportunities. All persons with active credentials are required to complete eight (8) hours of ethics training every five years as part of their continuing education.

Credentialed persons can earn CEUs by attending either PSMC sponsored or other religious/spiritual opportunities not sponsored by PSMC.

To apply for CEU credit for PSMC sponsored events, a CEU credit form will be provided for you at the event and will be signed by event leaders at the end of the event. The pastor/leader is then required to submit this stamped form to the PSMC office for the credit to be applied to their ministerial profile. Submit the form and documentation via email to or a copy mailed to the PSMC office at 379 N. Campus Ave., Upland, CA 91786. Be sure to keep a copy for your records.

To apply for CEU credit for events not sponsored by PSMC, download and print the PSMC CEU Form. Complete the form and attach proper proof that you completed the instructional hours. Submit the form and documentation via email to or a copy mailed to the PSMC office at 379 N. Campus Ave., Upland, CA 91786. Be sure to keep a copy for your records.
