Offering Pastoral Care while Practicing Social Distancing
Time: Thursday, June 11 at 2 p.m. ET

Watch the recording here.

Moderated by David Augsburger, professor emeritus of of Pastoral Care and Counseling at Fuller School of Theology and bestselling author of numerous books on pastoral care.

At a time when many of us feel the need for increased levels of spiritual support, pastors and congregations are no longer able to practice traditional forms of face-to-face pastoral care due to COVID-19. How can we be present to each other spiritually when we are physically distant? How might we provide spiritual accompaniment for those experiencing fear, anxiety, grief, and death? MennoMedia’s Leader magazine will host a panel discussion with Anabaptist pastors and church leaders to unpack practical advice as well as theological considerations for providing pastoral care while practicing social distancing. Join us!

Health Resources for Churches

Here is a Covid-19 screening site provided by our PSMC insurance company in cooperation with MedCall Advisors. The screening is free. If it recommends that you see a doctor, a doctor is available at that point if you choose to have an online consultation. The consultation would cost $105. That will likely be covered by insurance.
